Wine Master Class

This year we will continue and extend our focus on wine education at the Taste of the Tamar. We are conducting a range of tutored Wine Master Classes for guests to participate in. The focus of these Master Classes will be on the quality wines produced from the Tamar Valley’s cool climate region.

Our presenter this year will be Robert Geddes, MW.

Rob became Australia’s third Master of Wine in 1993. He gained extensive marketing experience working with Rosemount Estate for eight years and after that Fosters.

He is currently the tastings editor for Drinks Trade magazine as well as a frequent contributor to Selector magazine, Drinks Trade magazine, and Holidays Away Magazine, and an author of A Good Nose and Great Legs – the art of wine from the vine to the table, and Australian Wine Vintages since the 27th edition with the 29th out in Aug.

Price is $35 which includes one day entry to the event, plus souvenir tasting glass and tasting booklet.

Times: 10am & 2pm Saturday and 10am Sunday
