Taste of the Tamar
A Celebration of Food & Wine from the Tamar Valley
The Taste of the Tamar is an annual event that
celebrates the premium cool climate wines and
regional produce from the Tamar Valley, Tasmania.
Using the Tamar Valley Wine Route map as a guide guests can travel under the one roof from cellar door to local producer tasting, purchasing, gathering and learning about our unique Tamar Valley.
Held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston over two days, guests purchase an entry ticket that provides them with a tasting glass, they are then free to wander through the venue, tasting the produce and meeting the people behind the produce.

Matt Skinner will joins us and conduct a number of master classes showcasing the Tamar Valley’s beautiful wines.
